About Cindy: Cindy Lee has trained in the Indo-Tibetan traditions of Buddhism and Yoga for over 25 years.
Co-teaching at international workshops and retreats for more than a decade with her late husband, Brian K. Smith (Lama Marut) Cindy continues their collaborative work of sharing the dharma with the intention of integrating wisdom and compassion in daily life.
Cindy received a Graduate Diploma in media and worked as a lecturer at Swinburne University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in literature and her dharma classes can include both in-depth textual study and creative approaches to practice techniques, influenced by her academic and artistic interests.
As an artist, Cindy has explored the intersection of multimedia, performance and insight, most recently in the creation of live events that investigate and illuminate themes such as the “Yoga of Sound”, “Buddha Nature” and the “Five Buddha Families”.
