A Day Long Guided Meditation
Buddhist Masters throughout the ages have advised that our experience of the world and actually our world itself, come from our mind. Yet, rarely do we gift ourselves the quality time to explore what shapes our life. In this day long practice, we will engage in guided meditations that probe into how our reality exists: what is our current condition and how can we use it to best advantage to create a happier future for ourselves and all beings.
During this day long workshop, we will spend the day:
– Receiving practical meditation advice from Buddhist Masters of the past
– Exploring how our mind shapes our reality
– Participating in guided meditations to probe how our reality exists
– Discussing how to create a happier future for ourselves and others
– Examining practical techniques useful for daily life
– Practicing meditation in a supportive community to prepare for the real world

Elaine Jackson is a founding member of Vajrapani Institute and has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism since 1977, studying with many of the greatest Buddhist teachers of our time. Every year for 12 years she engaged in a month-long solitary meditation retreat to deepen her practice.
She served as Executive Director of Vajrapani Institute for over five years just prior to entering a three-year meditation retreat completed in April, 2014. She lives a contemplative life off-the-grid in the Santa Cruz mountains while offering Dharma teachings and meditation support.
