Since PD (Physical Distancing), I find it nourishing to pause, ground and connect with others online. The sense of dropping in with ourselves, others and feeling our shared humanity can feel soothing and restorative. I would like to think we are engaging our Social Nervous System through these practices.

In the first hour of this event, I will be offering a 30 – 45 minute guided meditation for grounding and arriving in the present. I am in a Mindfulness Meditation teacher training program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I will be sharing primarily from that stream. We will have some time after the meditation to hear from each other.
In the second hour of the event, I will offer a 30-minute session on connecting with our feelings and needs based on Marshall Rosenberg’s NVC process. It is a chance to connect with our hearts to find what would really nourish us right now.
We will use these documents for the NVC exercise.

I will be closing the Zoom room 5 minutes after the event starts to avoid disruptions to the group. Feel free to drop after the meditation. If something I offer does not work for you, you are encouraged to adapt/modify it to fit what you need. Thank you for being a part of this experiment!
If you can make a donation ($5 – $20) with ease and joy, please contribute to my favorite sangha –
