Overcoming Difficult Emotions in the Midst of COVID-19…Or Any Other Time with Karuna Cayton

May 12, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We are delighted to host the author of the book “The Misleading Mind”, Karuna Cayton, for an interactive class April 28-May 19. We will delve into modern day psychological questions that have arisen as a result of the Coronavirus but still affect us throughout our life. We will look at how emotional and psychological problems arise, what are their causes and how can we work with them. But we will approach these questions from a Buddhist psychological approach. Since Buddhism offers a complete psychology there should be an explanation of how to deal with our emotional struggles such as anxiety, depression, regret and so on. While this class is not designed to actually solve these problems we can hopefully get a glimpse of how we can approach them from an Buddhist psychological perspective. Questions and discussion welcomed!
