Praises to the 21 Taras: Compassion in Action

Tara is a goddess of universal compassion, representing virtuous and enlightened action. She is believed to help her followers overcome dangers, fears, and anxieties. Tara is intensely compassionate and acts quickly to help those who call upon her.

About the presenter:
The Diamond Light Buddhist Group is proud to present a two-day event with Venerable Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim. “Geshe” is a degree that is earned after 20-30 years of intensive study and completing the highest-level exams at monastic institutions of higher learning. Having successfully completed studies in both sutra and tantric Buddhist universities, Geshe Tsultrim is also a skilled monastic artist, specializing in traditional Tibetan art and the preservation of Tibetan culture by teaching philosophy and art programs to individuals, organizations, churches, universities, schools and cultural events around the planet.
