The Buddha taught to “cherish all life”. But how? By following ethical guidelines, which are quite similar to the Yamas and Niyamas. We’re delighted that Ryan Caputi will lead an interactive class/study-group exploring the Buddhist precepts, exploring the complexities, challenges and joys of applying them in everyday life!
Knowing the Pratimoksha Vows and practicing them over time:
– Eliminates stress.
– Cultivates attitudes of Generosity, Love, Equality, and – Compassion.
– Helps to create a stable mind ready for deeper meditative experiences
*This workshop is offered on a “Dana” basis. Dana is the ancient Pali language word describing generosity arising effortlessly from deep gratitude.
No registration fees are charged, and you will be offered an opportunity to make offerings in support of the center, the teachers, and the teachings.
