About the instructor: Eve Ekman Ph.D., MSW is designing, delivering and evaluating emotional awareness. Emotion awareness is an attitude and life-changing skills to transform relationships. She draws on advanced training and life experiences in clinical social work, integrative medicine research, and contemplative meditation practices and science.
She is the Director of Training at the University of California Berkeley Greater Good Science Center. Ekman’s research interests were inspired by her experience as a medical social worker in the emergency department of San Francisco General Hospital coupled with her training in the applied emotion regulation and mindfulness intervention: Cultivating Emotional Balance, CEB.
