In this course, we will explore how to use mind training techniques to transform our problems into causes for happiness. According to Buddhism, it is primarily our minds that determine whether we will experience happiness or pain and difficulties, and problems are excellent opportunities to make spiritual progress. We will discover the source of our problems and thereby be able to reduce them, discuss how problems can be transformed into causes for our own happiness and, in turn, lead to our ability to cherish and support others more naturally and effectively.
We will learn meditations as well as other techniques which can be used throughout our day to help create the transformation and happiness we seek. This course includes lecture, meditation and plenty of time for questions and answers.
