We are delighted to host the author of the book “The Misleading Mind”, Karuna Cayton. We will delve into modern-day psychological questions that have arisen as a result of the Coronavirus but still affect us throughout our life. We will look at how emotional and psychological problems arise, what are their causes and how can we work with them. But we will approach these questions from a Buddhist psychological approach. Since Buddhism offers a complete psychology there should be an explanation of how to deal with our emotional struggles such as anxiety, depression, regret, and so on. While this class is not designed to actually solve these problems we can hopefully get a glimpse of how we can approach them from a Buddhist psychological perspective.
